Lights after Dark

Nearly two weeks ago I went home to my hometown. Contrary to recent news about violence in the surrounding regions near the place where I grew up, I still find the place peaceful. I think this is because this was the place I grew up and was accustomed to.
I arrived a day before New Year. Everyone I knew was busy preparing for New Years Eve. Somehow, I still managed to meet up with good old friends. But aside from meeting with up with my old friends, I wanted to take picture of a particular place. The City Hall. The City Hall is known to be well lit specially on Christmas Season. And the lights go out only after New Year. And that is what I was trying to do, I wanted to make sure that I will be able to take a picture of the City Hall before the lights go out. My aunt who works at the Human Resources Department advised me take pictures as soon as I arrived. That is, considering that I will be arriving on the 30th of December and I only have a few more days before the lights will be taken out and I might just miss the opportunity to take a picture of the well lighted City Hall. But as expected, it took me some time before I can take photos of the City Hall, never the less, I think I my shot gave justice to how beautiful the lights are.

Yamaha's Rockin' My iPhone!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Yamaha. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every since I got hold of my iPhone, I never left my house without it. I don’t even think it ever left my side. It has practically been a part of my life. I mean, what else can you ask for, right?! You practically have everything in one gadget. Music, Movies, Internet; this are the most essential needs in my life right now and I am just glad that iPhone has all that.
Just recently, due to work overload, I use my iPhone more often now. That is, to listen to music. It helps relax and stay calm with all the stress that my work brings. And one busy afternoon on my way home. I passed by a shop and notice something that made me take a second look. I saw something that would compliment my iPhone; The Yamaha PDX-60 Speaker Dock. And just check the features!
It is so easy to use:
• Speaker can be placed in any out-of-the-way location
• Easy operation (auto power on/off and volume control sync)
• Transmitter unit is small enough that you can carry the iPod/iPhone around and talk on the iPhone with the transmitter attached
• Cradle for setting the iPod/iPhone on a table, etc.
• iPod charges from both speaker and cradle
• Card-type remote unit for convenient iPod operation
• Low power consumption
• Four color variations to match your iPod and room
High Sound Quality
• Uses lossless (uncompressed) signal transmission to achieve wireless sound quality
• Strong, rich and dynamic bass sound
• Perfect synchronization between sound and video when watching movies on your iPhone or iPod
What is "yAired"?
"yAired" is a Yamaha original wireless technology that offers many benefits, such as:
• Simple, convenient operation - unlike bluetooth products, no pairing is needed
• Wireless operation - Remote control from an iPod / iPhone, with auto power on and volume control
• Enjoy superior sound quality - uncompressed wireless audio transmission (linear PCM)
• Real-time communication - Audio and Video synchronization
My birthday is coming. I sure am getting this baby for my iPhone. Look how lonely my iPhone is. Glad I’m getting him a new playmate.

Lesson Learned

A few days ago, my review was approved which earned me a little something. I was happy, who wouldn’t?! Just while I was waiting for my other reviews to be approved, I received an email from good ol’ spark friend. I was hoping it was a notification that my reviews were approved, unfortunately, my review was disapproved. Why? I was in violation of good ol’ sparks terms of services. After briefly reading the email, I already knew it was fault. Still, to give me peace of mind, I went ahead and read the terms of services, again. This time, carefully. And so there it was, it clearly states that no succeeding reviews are allowed. Obviously, I did not get it the first time, which is why I had two consecutive reviews. It was kind of depressing, knowing that it could have been easy $10 or $15 for me. None the less, it was a good learning point. That I should read the terms of services carefully and not get too excited with the monetary incentives. I guess this follows to almost all advertising campaigns as well.
So before you guys try to do online marketing, make sure you read your advertisers terms of services. This way, you will be sure you will not get your account messed up.

Mac's Olympic Medallion. FOR FREE!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of All opinions are 100% mine.

It is not yet the Olympics season and they are already giving out FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion! Where do you get it? Only at Macs! Exclusively at Macs. How do you get the FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion? Simple, just purchase two Coca-Cola® 591ml products and right away you get yourself a free, one of a kind FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion.
I was always a fan of Coca-Cola; I literally grew up with Coca-Cola products in our coolers all the time. My all time favorite is the classic Coke, but right now, I seem to be buying Coke Zero more often. I always pair up my meals with a can of Coke Zero straight from the vending machine.
Aside from the wide variety of Coca-Cola products to chose from, what I like most about Coca-Cola are their give away. The freebies man! And right now, the Olympic Medallion Macs is giving out is another memorabilia hit, I know that for sure. I am a little far from a Mac’s store right now, but that didn’t stop me. I already made some phone calls to make sure my friends participate in this deal and get some FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion for me. And I am pretty sure they will also buy themselves two Coca-Cola® 591ml products and get themselves their own FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion. This is one deal I am sure my friends are not going to miss out.
Oh, the deal is subject to availability. So before Macs ran out of FREE Coca-Cola Collectible Medallion to give away, make sure you rush to the store and get yourself your own Olympic Medallion give away. Trust me, it’s worth it.
