waiting

I was never a fan of waiting. I hate the feeling of waiting. The agony of waiting and not knowing what the outcome is. Unfortunately for me, this is the stage where I am at now.

A week ago I made a daring move to try and venture out and try other opportunities outside my comfort zone.  I submitted my application to one of the big companies here in our town. I made the initial interview, passed the exam, but not pretty sure how well I did in the panel interview. There were two interviewees that time, I got word that one interviewee said I did OK, but not that impressive with the other one. So I guess that leaves me in limbo with no clear closing as to how I did with my panel interview. So now, there’s pretty much nothing I can do. I can follow up my application with the company, but knowing that it has only been a week, I guess it’s too early to do so. 

I need to keep myself preoccupied or at least get my thoughts of my application. Still, I hate this feeling. Hopefully, I would get word from the company anytime soon. With a little luck and the much needed blessings from above, I hope I hear good news.

Lesson Learned

A few days ago, my review was approved which earned me a little something. I was happy, who wouldn’t?! Just while I was waiting for my other reviews to be approved, I received an email from good ol’ spark friend. I was hoping it was a notification that my reviews were approved, unfortunately, my review was disapproved. Why? I was in violation of good ol’ sparks terms of services. After briefly reading the email, I already knew it was fault. Still, to give me peace of mind, I went ahead and read the terms of services, again. This time, carefully. And so there it was, it clearly states that no succeeding reviews are allowed. Obviously, I did not get it the first time, which is why I had two consecutive reviews. It was kind of depressing, knowing that it could have been easy $10 or $15 for me. None the less, it was a good learning point. That I should read the terms of services carefully and not get too excited with the monetary incentives. I guess this follows to almost all advertising campaigns as well.

So before you guys try to do online marketing, make sure you read your advertisers terms of services. This way, you will be sure you will not get your account messed up.

Missed Photo Shoots

Nothing much to do but whine. Today was supposed to be a busy day for me. Early morning photo walk scheduled at 6:00 am at downtown Cebu. Night photo walk from capitol to fuente osmena or wherever the walk leads us too.

I had this activity all planned out, I even listed myself to those participating in the photo walk. Unfortunately, my body just can’t keep up with all the busy schedules. Right now I am not really feeling well. I feel like anytime from now, I will get sick.

There will probably be another photo walk or another photo shoot activity, but the places we were supposed to go to are really colorful this time of the year. That is because of the Christmas season. Not only the colorful things you get to shoot, the people are friendlier this time of the year. So you can expect people to be smiling at you, not bothered by your camera pointing at them thinking you are some sort of trying hard paparazzi wanna-be .

None the less, I get to rest. I guess I needed it more than anything else. Right now I am stuffing myself with mixed fruits I got at local supermarket. The variety I chose were obviously more of vitamin c rich fruits. That what I needed right now.
